Simmers Contracts operatives have returned to Shetland to complete the cladding works package within this new build. Our operatives worked collaboratively with other trades on site and ensured the logistical challenges were overcome to achieve the timely completion of our works.
Across the sea again as Simmers Contracts returned to Islay to install the cladding and the made to measure open mesh flooring around the four copper stills. Our experienced draughtsman and workshop fabricators ensured all flooring was made with precision so that installation by our operatives on site was completed with efficiency.
Simmers Contracts have made good progress with the install of the steelwork required to enable the reconfiguration of the teaching space. This site provided a number of challenges for our operatives on site due to very restricted access and the complexity of installing steelwork within existing buildings.
Simmers Contracts have carried out a number of metalwork projects on this site and are currently installing handrails to the stairwells within the two latest triple span bonded warehouses.
Simmers Contracts have completed the steelwork and cladding of the new stillhouse and continue to provide a variety of services, including the fabrication and installation of metalwork access stairs and handrails.
