In 2012, Aker Solutions awarded Simmers Contracts Ltd a contract to fabricate modular test cells for the pressure testing of components for the oil industry.
These are erected within existing buildings to provide a safe testing environment.
Whilst this was a new area of work for Simmers Contracts Ltd, it had similar requirements to other oil and gas projects successfully delivered by ourselves in the past. Due to the success of the products delivered, the initial order resulted in a further seven contracts in Aberdeen and in Berkshire.
